ABSTRACT
The analysis for the mineral composition of two different manure (cow and pig) was carredoul using standard analytical methods: The results of the analysis for the two manures were: Cow: Nitrogen 3.76, Phosphorus 3066.91, Potassium 3872.86, Calcium 18069.73, Magnesium 1305.66 and pig manure: Nitrogen 3.53 Phosphorus 2610.00, potassium 4013.00. calcium 14200.00- magnesium 1261.00. It was revealed that low manure had the highest concentration of the analyzed mineral elements (N, PC and Mg) while pig manure had the highest concentration in (K). Hence, the two manure sample recommended to be used by farmers incenetiveaton.Magnesium was highly present in cow manure (1305.66) when compared with pig manure (12161.266). This reveals that the two manure samples are good sources.

1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the Study
Livestock manure, which contains high concentration of important nutrients (mainly nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) for the plants, 1s one of the important biomass resources for the farmland. Moderate land application of livestock manure on farmland is a direct and effective way to recycle nutrient, to improve soil fertility and to protect environment. On the other hand excessive discharge of livestock manure on farmland would pose a great threat to the ground/surface water environment and cause nutrient loss (Pain, 2000; Maff, 2010). Nutrient contents in manures varied significantly because of the variability of feed, rearing technologies and feeding practice (Nan, 2017; Leek et al, 2007). Analyzing the nutrient contents in livestock manure is important for the management and utilization of’ livestock manure resources.
