ABSTRACT
Andrographis paniculata, the king of bitters belongs to family Acanthaceae. The anatomical studies was carried out to assess epidermal features of Andrographis paniculata. The anatomical studies of Andrographis paniculata are described. The mature stomata isparacytic. Abnormalities notice were vertical and parallel contiguous stomata, stomata with one guard cell and unopen stomata pore. Leaves are hypostomatic. Sclerids were distributed on both surfaces. Other systematically useful characters are stomata length and width, epidermal length and width can be used for distinguishing the species.
