Abstract
In today’s stressful life, taking care of your health has become very important and this has resulted in long queues in most private and public hospitals. The need for application of queuing theory in healthcare setting is very important as far as human life is concerned. This study took a look at the Application of Queuing theory to Patients Satisfaction at General Hospital Ikot Ekpene. The mean arrival and service rates followed a poisson and exponential distributions respectively. The results derived from the analysis using goodness of fit to test whether the arrival and service rates follows a Poisson and exponential processes respectively showed that at 5% levels of significance, the null hypothesis were rejected since

both at 5 degrees of freedom. It was therefore concluded that the arrival and service rates at General Hospital Ikot Ekpene followed a Poisson and an exponential distribution which agreed with the assumptions earlier stated.
