ABSTRACT
The characterization of Eupatorium capillifolium extracts using FTIR indicated the presence of the following bioactive compounds (functional groups) Alkyl halides, alkynes, carboxylic acid, amines, aromatics, nitro compounds, alkanes, amide, alcohols and phenols, and this accounts for its wide range of medicinal and pharmacological applications.
