ABSTRACT
This study investigated the prospects and problem of e-marketing in the hospitality industry,using Channel View Hotel Calabarin CrossRiverState, as case study. Most organizations are yet to adopt the use of internet to market their services to their customers thereby ,still using the traditional method of marketing. This study was setup to determine the methods used in e-marketing and it impact on their target audience. It also ascertains and selects there Levant channels of e-marketing. Channel View Hotel has adopted the use of e-marketing such as face book, Instagram page,website and more as their strategy to reach their target audience and be accessed by their prospective customers. Due to the nature of data needed,theme methodology used was quantitative research and results were analyzed using statistical procedures. From there search the seare the findings made;most hospitality industries have not adopted to e-marketing as their model of reaching their customers. They have restricted themselves toonlyofflin emarket-ng. Channel View Hotel have embraced the presence of social networking and are reaping fromite normous benefits.The study made useofquestionnaireincollectingdataforanalysis.The studys howed that the impact of e-marketing on business in general will minimizeth emarketing costsbytransformingfromtraditional/offlinemarketingtoamixofofflineandonlinemarketingwithafocusontheonlinemarketing,andthecostperuniqueuserswilldecrease.Thestudyrecommendedthatweshouldavoidcreatingmultiplepagesofweakcontentjusttogeneratesearchtraffic.Instead,focusonaconsumer-centricapproachthatwillbuildyourwordofmouthmarketing,anduseamulti-attributionreporttoseehowmanyassistedconversionsarearesultoforganicsite visitors.
