An instrument titled Students’ Perception on the Adoption of the computer based test Questionnaire (SPACTQ) was designed, validated by six experts in the Faculty of Education of University of Abuja and
used to collect relevant data for the study with reliability of 0.92. Results obtained from the responses to the questionnaire were analysed using mean and standard deviation. It was found that CBT enjoyed different levels of acceptance among student with the belief that no improvement has been seen on students’ academic performance as a result of CBT. The study therefore recommends a wide sensitization of students on the need to embrace CBT to meet up with the trend in Information technology all over the world.
